These Are ~ Tried and True Recipe's from my mother :)
Miracle Whip Cake
1-1/4 C. SugarMiracle Whip Cake
1/2 C. cocoa
Mix well, add
1 C. warm water
2 tsp. Baking Soda
Mix well, add
1 C. Miracle Whip (r)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 C. flour
Mix well.
Bake in a greased and floured pan at 350 degrees until done. Frost when cool with chocolate frosting.
Dreamy Coconut Cake
Cake:
1 box Duncan Hines Coconut Cake mix
1, 3-1/2 oz. box instant coconut pudding
1/2 C. oil
2 tsp. coconut extract
1 C. water
4 eggs
1 C. shredded coconut
In a medium size bowl blend cake mix with instant pudding. With an electric mixer, blend in oil, coconut extract, and water. Add eggs, one at a time, blending a minute to a minute and a half per egg. Fold in coconut. Bake in a greased and floured angel food cake pan 350 degrees 38 to 40 minutes or until done.
Frosting
1 C. milk
1, 3-1/2oz.
1/4 C. powdered sugar
8 oz. tub of whipped topping
1/2 C. shredded coconut
In a medium size bowl, add pudding mix & sugar to milk. Beat with electric mixer until well blended. Mix will be thick. gently fold in whipped topping and 1/2 C. coconut. Refrigerate 16 minutes prior to frosting. Top with additional shredded coconut. Store in refrigerator.
